Attorney Information

Biography

Beau has spent his legal career tackling tough problems for both private and public entities. Beau combines a can-do attitude with a passion for problem solving, advising clients with transactional, compliance, and litigation matters across the spectrum of healthcare, professional liability, government reimbursement, federal and state grants and contracting, commercial, utilities, and railroad matters.

Beau underwent his legal education in Wisconsin, receiving his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and being admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in May 2019. While in Wisconsin, Beau developed a successful elder law, estate planning, probate and trust administration, employment, and residential, commercial, and agricultural real estate practice. Beau remains well-versed in these fields to this day.

As a proud Mississippian and Ole Miss graduate, Beau always knew he would return to Mississippi. While practicing in Wisconsin, Beau passed the Mississippi Bar Exam and was sworn into the Mississippi Bar in September 2019. He relocated back to Mississippi in October 2020 and was shortly after named the Director for Administrative Hearings for the Mississippi Department of Human Services. Beau also served as the Human Resources Attorney for the Mississippi Department of Corrections, serving as the subject-area expert for employment matters pertaining to the Department’s approximately 2,000 employees. Although Beau enjoyed his time in public service, he jumped at the opportunity to join Wise Carter and takes pride in continuing the firm’s long history of excellence in technical and heavily-regulated practice areas.

Beau is a resident of his hometown, Flowood, Mississippi, and enjoys spending time with his wife, Morgan, his daughter, Alice and his friends and family in the area. When Beau is not working or cheering on his Rebels, Badgers, or Green Bay Packers, you will most likely find him catching a round of golf or lounging by the pool at the Castlewoods County Club.
