ABOUT Elizabeth G. Hooper

Elizabeth G. Hooper is a shareholder at Wise Carter Child & Caraway with experience representing hospitals and various healthcare providers. Her healthcare practice includes regulatory compliance, transactions, and administrative appeals. She has represented healthcare providers before administrative agencies, including the Mississippi Division of Medicaid, the Mississippi Department of Health and the Provider Reimbursement Review Board. Ms. Hooper counsels providers in decisions that implicate Stark Law, Fraud and Abuse issues and numerous other federal and state healthcare regulatory and licensure laws. She also represents several public hospitals and is knowledgeable of the special concerns under state law affecting these entities. Ms. Hooper is admitted to practice in all Mississippi Federal and State Courts and is a member of various legal bar associations and the American Health Lawyers Association. For the past several years, Ms. Hooper has served as a member of the Capital Area Bar Association's grant committee.
