In addition to counseling banks in the areas of commercial loan documentation, bankruptcy, and complex loan workout matters, the firm has handled litigation in state and federal courts on behalf of banks involving a variety of commercial and special banking law issues. Wise Carter lawyers also have been actively involved in representing officers and directors of failed banks and thrifts in connection with claims, administrative proceedings and federal court actions brought by FDIC, OTS and RTC.
